Thai restaurant Nok Nok

Thai restaurant Nok Nok

Nok Nok may very well be the fanciest Thai restaurant you've ever seen. In order to see it, you should go to the old town of Tallinn, where this restaurant is located directly opposite the cinema Sõprus. However, there is another way to admire the beauty of this restaurant: right here on the Internet - virtual tour with the help of

The restaurant got its quaint but memorable name thanks to the two birds carved out of stone, which gaze majestically on the pillars of the bar stand right there on the facade, to the left of the entrance. Upon entering the restaurant, the visitor is greeted by a cocktail bar with an interior of airy basket chairs, walk a little further and you will reach the restaurant area with cozy light and Nordic solid wooden tables and chairs.

I usually recommend to restaurants Google Street View solution. With it, you can walk in the door and then wander around the restaurant. Simple. However, NokNok restaurant is not a simple restaurant, because instead of one big room, there are many different rooms. And these rooms are located separately from each other - some are downstairs, to get to the other you have to go through a narrow gap in the wall and then go up the stairs. It wouldn't have made much sense to turn such a labyrinth into a Street View. Because the customer is not interested in wandering around the corridors - rather, he is interested in how one or another room for rent looks like.

Thus, NokNok restaurant was born not on Google Street View, but on its own virtual tour. One where a 360-degree spherical super-quality panorama was created from each room. And what is on the server of the restaurant's own website without any monthly fee. Using the pleasantly comprehensive menu at the bottom of the tour, the interested party can now quickly and easily jump into the desired rooms and look around there. There is a small description of each room above, and there are also buttons for the website, Facebook and Google Maps environment on the right side.

On a small mobile screen, this virtual tour automatically recognizes and adjusts itself accordingly. And in addition, the restaurant can add views directly to the desired space. For example, if you want to show the view of the cooking school on the website of the cooking school, you can add it either with a link attached to the photo (click on the image):

Or using the iFrame code:

In addition, the marketing team of the restaurant got all the basis of the tour at their disposal 360 degree panoramas. photos about 15,000 px wide, from which different parts can be cut out for web or print. Or that can be shared on Facebook with just one gesture - where they automatically become interactive thanks to the added metadata.
