Tallinn Kopli Vocational School

Tallinn Kopli Vocational School

The idea of creating Tallinna Kopli Vocational School (TKAK) started in 2002 in cooperation between the Tallinn city government and Tallinn entrepreneurs. The first Tallinn municipal vocational school, TKAK, was founded in 2003. On September 1, 2004, 130 young people started their studies in three prospective skilled trades: real estate caretaker, tram and trolley locksmith-electrician, and craftsman. Tram and trolley locksmith-electrician and craftsman professions can be studied both in Estonian and Russian.

Modern learning conditions have been created at TKAK, and the main emphasis in teaching is on modern technologies. The school has several good cooperation partners, such as BLRT Grupp, Tallinn Tram and Trolleybus Team, AS Tallinna Vesi, EKHHL and AS Minu Vara, etc., with whom TKAK students can acquire practical work skills.
